Hi, I'm Arra Jane.

I oversee a portfolio of pathway programs that connect community colleges, universities, and Schools of Medicine. I'm focused on building programs that 1) opens doors and 2) supports students as far as they want to go, from early exploration to medical school readiness. I am especially interested in supporting those who are typically underrepresented in healthcare careers.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is mentorship. I lead a team of eight coordinators, and I care deeply about developing them into thoughtful, confident leaders in higher education.

Somewhere in the middle of meetings and emails, I’m also pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership at UC Davis, where I’m thinking more about the student experience, how pathway programs scale, and how institutions like ours can do better.

When I'm off the clock, you can find me at spin class, reading a book I hope is good, or hanging out with my dog Frankie (she/her).
